Amaya Gaming was founded in 2001 and is based in Canada. In June 2014 they acquired PokerStars, BetStars and Full Tilt Poker and in August 2017 they changed their name to The Stars Group Inc. In 2018, The Stars Group bought British based Sky Betting & Gaming Ltd. The Stars Group create online casino games and have sports betting and fantasy sports technology. They holds licences from the Malta Gaming Authority and the Isle of Man.

Amaya have developed over 85 games including a wide range of slots and casino table games such as poker, blackjack, craps and baccarat. PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker are popular online poker cardrooms and Sky Betting & Gaming provide sports betting, online poker, casino and bingo websites.
